Advantages of the Fit-A-Fender
- Non-marring material - soft foam, closed cell material will not cause wearing at contact point
- Remains attached at critical contact area due to rectangular shape and double attachment. The Fit-A-Fender will not shift away from contact area.
- Slip sheet feature: Tough material of the sheet portion of the Fit-A-Fender takes bulk of wear against dock. The membrane acts as a slip sheet between the dock and foam.
- Ballast keeps Fit-A-Fender in place. Because of the ballast, the Fit-A-Fender does not have a tendency to pop up.
- Stowed easily: Because the Fit-A-Fender is less bulky and can be rolled or laid flat, it can be stowed more easily.
- Universal and quick attachment: Variety of attachment choices (rail, snap or cleat attachment). Six snap studs are provided for boats that do not come with snaps in the proper location. Optional stick on receiver attachment also available.
- Fit-A-Fender adjusts quickly with buckles for use with any dock height or boat shape. Fit-A-Fender doesn't need to be re-tied every time it is adjusted for a particular dock or boat.

General Information
The Fit-A-Fender should cover as much of the boat as possible, without hanging in the water. Different boats will take different lengths of a Fit-A-Fender and in some cases two different lengths will work best on a particular boat. Bass and low profile boats usually will take the 18" x 16" size on the stern and bow, while runabouts, bowriders and small cuddies will usually need the longer 18" x 22" size on the bow and 18" x 16" size on the stern. If tying up on rough water, inside attachment and longer Fit-A-Fender are recommended. Fit-A-Fenders come in a variety of foam thickness based on the roughness of water and size of boat.
